THEFT OF MEMORABILIA AND ARTIFACTS BELONGING TO THE STIMSON ASSOCIATION
Shipmates we have suffered a theft of the majority of our memorabilia and artifacts belonging to the Association. The theft occurred sometime between November 13 and 28, 2020. The custodian for these items was storing them in a secure storage unit in Ladson SC and the unit was secured with a heavy-duty combination padlock. The padlock was cut and the Pelican cases containing a large number of our artifacts were taken. The police are investigating but in the meantime all of our shipmates are being asked to keep an eye open for any Stimson items they see being sold or auctioned on social media or sales sites.
